Snoozin'

We're here and alive, just snoozin' for a while. Things are busy as usual and we need to take a break/breather/time-out. We're feeling a lot of pressure to get the house done before Thanksgiving, but there just "ain't no way." We're also a little sleepy due to this cold front. Brrrrrr! However, Little man is keeping us warm on these cold days. He has been waking up at night for some reason (maybe the pesky molars) but we both enjoy bringing him into bed with us. I also am going to get into a wreck one of these days because ever since he got his "big boy" car seat and faces forward, I can't stop staring at him in my rear view mirror. He is just so stinkin' cute! (I can say that. I am his mom) At any rate, I promise the next time we have something exciting to talk about, cute picture to share, or new development we'll post. Until then, it is "night night."

Oh wait! There is ONE.

Seven years ago today, I married the man of my dreams! From the first moment I saw him at Burger King, I knew he was the one. Although he foolishly denied his feeling for me at first, he eventually came around. I can remember a sad, broken-hearted 16 year-old looking up at the galaxy of glow-in-the-dark-star stickers in her bedroom, with Pearl Jam's Black playing in the background, praying to God that He would let us get married one day. "Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask and you shall receive so that your joy may be complete." John 16:24 The good Lord heard me and my joy was completed. My joy was made even more complete when Little Man came. It has been a year of learning and growing, a year of extreme joy. This 7 year itch thing might hold some truth, but for us it is something to laugh at.

Happy Anniversary my dear husband, a man who makes me laugh (especially at myself) harder than anyone else. I love you, Mr. B.

Happy Anniversary!! 7 years is a definite accomplishment these days. I love to see success in marriage. A lot of people give up easily it seems.

My Husband and I will celebrate our first anniversary on July 7 next year!
