I was hypnotized by the swirl on his head.
It was the first thing I noticed about him.
It was the first thing about him I fell in love with.
I say was because he has now lost most of his hair and the swirl isn't as visible.
Kind of a metaphor for the past six weeks, don't you think?
So many changes, all one big swirl that is soon to be gone.
These days go by so fast.
Thanks be to God for the mess and the beauty of these days...all swirled together.

Beautiful Jamie!
that's what i've been waiting for! beautiful thoughts, and so true.

This gave me tingles -- so simple, so beautiful, so true. I know you know this, but I say it for myself as much as anybody: Enjoy each moment, each phase, each wonderful thing, then let it lightly go.
Awww
yes, yes, yes!
Well said Jamie! We certainly wish we were physically closer to the swirl! We pray that there comes more beauty than mess. We love and miss you!
