Remember this post?
I began packing today. Halfway through cleaning off shelves, I stopped and looked around. I allowed myself to drift into a frantic panic for a few seconds, thinking that I absolutely had to take pictures of every nook and cranny to remember what this house looked like. As if the pictures would be the only thing left to remind me of the past 3 years.
I walked out of the family room, took a couple of deep breaths, and just wept with gratitude.
I'm so thankful for every single detail in my life right now. Even the details I've been trying to pray away for the past 6 months. Once again, I wrapped it all up in four walls. Realizing this and then letting it go, I'm free again. Free to move forward with anticipation of what blessings are awaiting us in the new home.
So, no picture taking today. Just thanks and praise...and some packing.

What the hay??? Where are you moving??? I HATE moving:-/ It is SO much work, but totally worth it, especially if it is somewhere better overall...Good luck, prayers coming your way!
Beautiful post. I will try to remember it as I pack up my own life, the good and the not-so-good, in another month or so.
happy move, sweet pea. wishing you so much joy in your new home (though it appears joy and love reside within you so i'm not worried about your happiness one little bit :) xo
Moving, for me, is always about so much more than moving-- it is easy to get lost in it. Sounds so much like you have your feet under you!
Cannot imagine moving while so beautifully and bountifully pregnant- be gentle with yourself!
and your images of your little one, the bath, the merry go round, the image of you with his hands on the sides of your belly-- purely beautiful
each one a poem.
sending love to you and
such gratitude.
Wishing you comfort as you make this transition to your new home.
