Timing

The theme of timing has been coming up quite a bit lately. Not just in our life but in the lives of people who surround us. Too much to be ignored or to simply write off as coincidence.

Sparing details, some people we know have been anxiously awaiting (or dreading) a date they have had on the calendar for years. Others are trying to handle the complexities of unforeseen situations, tragedies and pleasant surprises alike. Some are over-committed. Some have no commitments at all. Others are pondering what to put on their calendar next. Others have an idea of what they'd like to put on their calendar but don't know where to put it.

I picture it like a game of musical chairs. All of these events circling around and around, staring eagerly at the space they are going to claim once the music stops. No one knows when the music will stop or where these events will fall into place. It is fun, exciting, and scary all at the same time...and totally worth waiting for because of who is in charge of the music.

So no matter where you find yourself on your calendar today, I hope you find peace in knowing that it is all in His timing.
