All Gone!

So, for NaBloPoMo I have decided to do something totally unoriginal and post something I am thankful for each day.

Thanks #1: Whenever Baby Boudreaux is done or if something is all gone, he raises his palms to the air, shrugs his shoulders and says, "Dah doh". Last night he climbed up on my lap and was tugging at my shirt, wanting to nurse. I said, "Aaaallllll Gone." He replied with a puzzled look with his hands in the air and said, "Daaaaah Doh." Then he gave me a big smile, climbed down from my lap, and went about his business.

I am thankful for my body and for being able to nurse as long as we did. I would have liked to have gone longer, but that is the over-achiever in me. Many women try and can't and I almost feel guilty for how easy it was for us. It may not be as easy with the next one, so I don't take it for granted.

rather than looking at it as "unoriginal", consider what it will bring in reward and fulfillment. we all go too long w/o giving thanks and i do believe it can lead to negativity. way to focus on the positive, Jame!!

Great thing to be thankful for. My Mom wasn't able to breast feed, she didn't produce what I needed and it made me very sick. Thankfully they realized what it was and Mom stopped nursing.
