Summer Fun

The weekend is coming again and this coming weekend will be spend at another lake for a friend's birthday party. It will be nice letting someone else do the entertaining for a day! I absolutely love having people out here...my friends are very low maintenance and do an awesome job of helping to bring food and such. Last Saturday, our friends J and V brought dinner to us and it was sooooooo nice!! We had a great time swimming and hanging out! Baby Boudreaux really loves the water!

I haven't been posting much lately because I feel like there isn't much new and exciting to blog about. Today I have a few things....
The house is coming along nicely. The cabinets are in, the bathroom tile is laid, the kitchen floor will be laid tomorrow, the electricity, A/C, and plumbing are all supposed to be done by the weekend. Mr. B came home yesterday with a sink for the kitchen and bath, and a toilet. So, I guess that is great progress!

My friend, Jen, had her baby boy on Tuesday. Go here to read all about it. I haven't made it to see them yet but Jen, I'll be there soon!! (Like she is reading this!)

I met a girl through a bible study this past spring named Stacy, and she came over yesterday with her 5 children. We had the best time! It was so nice having someone to spend the day with since it can get kind of lonely out here. We ate tacos and a naughty dessert, the kids swam, and Baby Boudreaux was as happy as a lark with all of those kids around. He loves to watch kids, especially older ones. He really comes alive when other children are around. Tomorrow, his friend Taylor is coming to play. They are so funny together! Click to see more about our day at the lake with Stacy and her kids. Stacy has some pics out there, but here are some more with her sons "Captain" and "He-Man."
I have been busy this week, gone Monday night and Tuesday night and will be gone again tonight. Mr. B sent me this picture Tuesday night with the heading, "We miss you, Momma!" I thought it was so sweet! I don't know what I would do without my boys!
