Random Friday

Each time I go to put something away in Andrew's room or straighten up his toys he asks, "Mom, what are you doing to my mess?"

I'm Mom now. No longer mommy or momma. Just Mom, straight up. Like I've been welcomed into this elite club or that I'm one of the 'guys' now. No really, I insist...call me Bob, not Robert.

This morning when we got home from our run, I pulled him out of the jogger. He looked up at me and said, "Great run, Mom!" I could just eat him up.

I love my Argus. This picture makes me laugh every time I look at it. He looks like such a little Poindexter.

Today I had to explain to Andrew that the digital cable was out and that is why he couldn't watch Maggy and the Ferocious Beast. Something tells me he didn't understand.

He keeps pulling up his shirt, pointing to his...a-hem...nipples and asks, "Mom, what are these things on my tummy?" I tell him what they are and then he'll say, "Oooooo bipples!" We've repeated this conversation about 12 times today.

Well, he just came in and pointed to them and called them hiccups. I can live with that.
Happy Friday, everyone!

When and where did you get your Argus???

So you are Mom now too, huh? Thank goodness Jake is calling me Mommy. I missed it so much when Luke stopped.

Asher has started calling me Mommy, which is a word I never use - I think he's just heard his friends saying it. I wonder what that's about?

Guess what I found the other day....Your grandma's recipe for Peanut Brittle:-) I found it in one of my college books, how odd is that. Anyway, it brought back some yummy memories of eating at your house in high school:-) Anyway, I loved your post and checked out your new blog and I think you are an amazing photographer. I love looking at everything you make, it is all so peaceful to me. Thanks!!
