Today

This morning I was good to go.
Not nervous.
Not irritated.
Not worried.
Not pessimistic.
Not wanting to shake sense into millions of misled Americans.
Not butting my palm to my forehead as I recognize ignorance.
Not viewing my city...state...country as a lost cause.

All it took was 10 minutes outside and all of these things became me.

I hope tomorrow I'm feeling a little lighter.
That is my prayer.
My other prayer is for all of us to wake up and take a good look at what is going on around us, starting in our own homes.
We're gonna reap what we sow, people.
It is time to "check yo-self."
