Complain Train comin' through...

Sorry to complain. I am up here at the lake sweating my butt off. I came up to start cleaning the damage from the storms this week. The A/C is broken and it is 98 thousand degrees. I was in a hurry to get up here and mow the lawn and start cleaning, but I can't do either because I didn't realize things were this bad, thus I have no tools to cut anything with nor do I have gloves to pick up the blazing hot black shingles baking in the 98 thousand degree sun. There are two ginormous trees that need to be cut down, one of which is in front of the shed containing the lawn mower. And I am not driving home anyways because it took us an hour and a half to get up here with all of the stops we had to make and I'm not getting back into the car with Baby B again because I don't want to listen to his screaming anymore. Holy Moses it is hot! The phones are not working. I don't have cell phone reception. The Internet keeps going in and out. My son (who is almost two) has been throwing a 2 hour long tantrum because he is hot and can't talk on the phone. I think my new name is "No" because he must say that to me about 65 times a day. I just put him to sleep in the downstairs bathroom because that seems to be the coolest and darkest room in the house. I came up here to cool off...yeah right. I have to go back downstairs...thanks for listening. Things could be a lot worse, I know, but I just needed to complain...

Here we go again...just another reason(in my mind) for you guys to move back home. Sunny 78 degree fresh Motown air here! Plus!!! Two sets of grandparents more than willing to babysit for our favorite grandson, and he can nap in a real bedroom! Just trying to make y'all smile a bit :). Love you guys. Bumpa E

I feel for you! We don't have AC here in Misawa, Japan either because the Air Force won't spend the $ for the 6-8 weeks of living in a sauna weather, it's sooo humid and hot from July-Sept that even sleeping is a task! I hope you cool down soon! The one thing about moving back to AL that makes me smile is AC in the summer! LOL :)
