We went to Mr. B's company Christmas party last night. We had a fun time. I loathe any type of corporate function, but my husband lives for these parties. Not in a "schmooze so I can get a raise" kind of way. I am not even sure how to phrase it...he just loves these parties and is already talking about next year's. I always have a good time as well, but only because of him. I end up laughing all night and we just have a lovely time.
We left Baby Boudreaux home with Auntie for the night. She spent the night and when we came home, she was already in bed. I went in to check and see how the night went. Our conversation went something like this:
Me: Hey....how'd it go?
Her: (half asleep) Fine.
Me: Really?
Her: Yeah, Fine.
Me: Did he go to sleep OK?
Her: Yeah.
Me: What time?
Her: Bout 9.
Me: Did you have fun with him?
Her: Yeah.
Me: Good, so everything was fine?
Her: Yeah.
Me: Thank you so much for watching him.
Her: Uh-huh. He pooped on the kitchen floor.
Me: What?
Her: He pooped on the kitchen floor.
Me: Baby Boudreaux? Or the dog?
Her: Baby Boudreaux. Then he picked it up.
Me: What?
Her: Baby Boudreaux pooped on the kitchen floor, then he picked it up. I had to give him a second bath.
Me: How did he poop on the kitchen floor?
Her: He got away when I was trying to change his diaper.
Me: He picked it up?
Her: Yes. He picked it up.

too funny... love that little guy and his shenanigans :)
So young and already he's a neat-freak. That kid's got class.
Dying here. More dialogue, please!
And if it involves the word "poop," all the better.
OMG!!! Too funny!!
Had a terrible day at school.
This made my day. Thanks,
Just wait 'till he starts putting things in his pockets. I know someone who found worms in the pocket of her son's shorts after they had been through the washer. (Long story)
