Can we go now, please?

No, Baby. I am sorry, not yet. But soon...very soon!

Progress is being made at the house, slowly but surely. Very, very slowly. The kitchen and bath have been tiled, the cabinets are in, the counter tops are in, the drywall is up (mostly) and so we have a bit done. Here are the latest pics of the kitchen.

The problem is, every weekend we have something going on that prevents us from working full time. Last weekend it was a wedding. This was our first night on the town in 10 months!! We have had short date nights before, but this was sort of a "party until the cows come home" kind of night and it was fabulous! Baby Boudreaux is only nursing about 2-4 times a day now so it allows for some extra freedom! The reception was in our friend's beautiful back yard! It was something straight out of a wedding magazine...except for the 100 degree heat, but they had some fans and we danced the night away....









For the next two weekends, Mr. B's parents will be here as well as our good friend's son is turning 2 and his b-day party is next weekend. The following weekend we are having a big shrimp boil here at the lake, then the next weekend my dad and brother and sister-in-law will be down. We feel very blessed to be so busy with friends and family, but SERIOUSLY! We need to get the house DONE and moved out of the lake!
